Mumbai: In a major opportunity for homebuyers, the MHADA Mumbai Board has announced its much-awaited housing lottery for 2026, offering a total of 2,640 flats across various parts of Mumbai.

The online application process begins today, March 30, with registrations opening at 3:00 PM following the official launch by MHADA Vice President and CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal. The final lottery draw will be conducted on May 15 at 11:00 AM.

The flats are spread across key residential areas including Vikhroli, Goregaon, Borivali, Chembur, Bandra, Ghatkopar, Dadar, Wadala, Powai, Mazgaon, and Girgaum, among others—providing options for buyers across different parts of the city.

The housing units are divided across income groups:

• 145 flats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
• 858 flats for Lower Income Group (LIG)
• 1,408 flats for Middle Income Group (MIG)
• 229 flats for Higher Income Group (HIG)
