Historic Move: Ashwini Bhide Becomes First Woman Chief of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation

Mumbai: In a landmark administrative development, senior IAS officer Ashwini Bhide has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), becoming the first woman in history to hold the prestigious post.
